Terms & Conditions
The ground rules for using our website and enjoying our activity books. We have kept them as clear and friendly as we can.
Last updated: 1 August 2026
Welcome
These terms and conditions apply to your use of the WordJelly website at wordjelly.com and to the printable activity books we publish. WordJelly ("we", "us", "our") is an educational publisher based in the United Kingdom. By using our website you agree to these terms. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Using our website
You are welcome to browse, read and share links to our website for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please do not misuse the site, for example by attempting to gain unauthorised access, introducing harmful code, scraping content in bulk, or using the site in any way that breaks the law.
Our products
Our activity books are digital PDF downloads designed for children, sold through our shop on Etsy. When you buy one of our books, your purchase is made on Etsy and is governed by Etsy's own terms of use and policies, including its payment and delivery processes. Prices, product details and availability are shown on each Etsy listing. We do not sell products directly through this website; the buttons and links on our product pages take you to the relevant Etsy listing.
Your licence to use our books
When you buy a WordJelly book, we grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to download and print it for use in your own home, or with children in your own care or class. That means you may:
- save the PDF on your own devices;
- print as many copies as you need for your own children, or for the children you personally teach or care for.
To keep things fair for a small publisher, you may not:
- share, email, upload or resell the PDF files themselves;
- sell or distribute printed copies;
- use our books, characters or artwork commercially without our written permission.
Intellectual property
Everything on this website and in our books, including the WordJelly name, logo, mascot, illustrations, text, puzzles and page designs, belongs to WordJelly and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. All rights are reserved.
Digital content and refunds
Because our books are instant digital downloads, they are delivered by Etsy as soon as your purchase completes. Refunds for purchases made on Etsy are handled through Etsy in line with its policies and our shop's stated refund policy. If something is wrong with your download, for example a faulty or incomplete file, please contact us at info@wordjelly.com and we will put it right. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you have legal rights in relation to digital content that is faulty or not as described, and nothing in these terms takes those rights away.
Links to other websites
Our website contains links to third-party websites, most often our listings on Etsy. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of other websites, so it is worth reading their terms and privacy information when you visit them.
What we promise, and what we cannot
We put great care into making our books accurate, age-appropriate and genuinely useful for young learners. However, every child learns differently, and we cannot promise specific educational outcomes. The website itself is provided on an "as available" basis; we work hard to keep it online and error-free, but we cannot guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or fault-free.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Beyond that, we are not liable for losses that are not foreseeable, or for business losses, since our website and books are provided for personal, non-commercial use. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in another country as a consumer, you also keep the protection of any rules of law in your country that cannot be excluded by agreement, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts where the law allows.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example if our products or the law change. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date shown at the top.
